About Us.
We are Pine Hills.
Our mission is to exceed our customer needs by providing an enjoyable
and affordable golf experience. Pine Hills strives to be at the
highest level of customer satisfaction and will ensure that our
courses are always well-maintained and managed and that our
customers always come first and foremost.
Pine Hills was built in 1968 and was one of the first golf courses
to be built in the area. As a result, the course boasts mature,
well laid out, unparalled fairways. The course has been undergoing vast improvements in the past few years
which include 15 new sand bunkers, two new water hazards, a recently
installed irrigation system the allows exceptional playing conditions,
and enhanced greens and tees. Pine Hills is currently
incorporating redesign changes by R. Stuart Cutlip of Cutlip
Golf Design (offices in NYC and North Carolina). Mr.
Cutlip has been featured on CNN, the USGA Journal and Sports
Illustrated. Also, the Par-3 course has undergone a dramatic
configuration and improvement to its layout including nine new
greens and tees.
Pine Hills is a proud member of the Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce and the National Golf Course Owners Association. Pine Hills is recognized as a Beginner Friendly Course, and has been ranked in Golf Digest as one of the Best Places to Play" in the area.
